Good news on interconnections with Finnish banks

Finally the interconnections with the Finnish banks are here! The bank connections have been the most frequently requested - and the most commercially cumbersome - feature that has been requested throughout the history of Maventa. Today we are delighted to announce the connections to the whole of our clientele.

What is my benefit from the new bank connections?

As of today, the bank connections fill the void between the previously segregated networks of 20,000 businesses which have elected a Finnish bank as their e-invoice carrier. Previously this has meant, that e-invoices from Maventa were not delivered to these said 20,000 entities, but was forced to be delivered on other means.

What does the feature cost?

For each message sent and received to or from the bank network, Your account will be debited 0.50 euros (vat 0%). You can read more about our pricing at http://www.maventa.com.

Customers who use Maventa through a partner, may we ask kindly to revert to your service or software provider for additional information.

How do I activate the add-on service?

1. Log on to your account at: https://login.maventa.com/?lang=EN 
2. Select "Settings > Bank network settings" 
3. Select "Activate" 
4. Check the pre-filled form's fields and order the service.
5. Within a few days You will receive an activation-code, a proxy letter and the add-on service agreement delivered to your office.
6. When you fill in the correct activation-code, on the same page, the service will open within 2 banking days.

Activation of the service costs 10.00 Euro (vat 0%).

Why do I need to activate the service like this?

The activation requires your company to give a letter of proxy to Maventa in order for the bank to allow us to open the connection on your behalf. The proxy itself is due to regulations of the bank itself, which Maventa must adhere to.
