Maventa is proud to report that we now have customers in 27 countries and are expanding rapidly. Our international recognition has been further fuelled by the Gartner’s recognition of Maventa as a 2010 Cool Vendor, as detailed in the previous blog post.
We have added interconnectivity agreements across Europe to enable our customers deliver and receive electronic invoices seamlessly. In countries such as Finland our coverage of e-invoice operators is 100%. This means Maventa customers can be confident that their solution offers the best coverage and most efficient invoicing anywhere.
The only drag in complete interconnectivity for a market like Finland are in the banking sector, which is holding up the full ability of SMEs to deliver e-invoices to all companies, big and small. Maventa is actively working with the banks to resolve the situation for the better, and already have agreed on interconnectivity with some of the banks.
Interconnectivity agreements, in a nutshell, mean that the protocols and standards employed by various invoice operators are compliant with each other. For the end users, this means that invoices can be delivered electronically from system to system, eliminating the need for any manual processing. In addition to eliminating errors, costs and wasted time, it also eliminates the environmental burden that paper-based invoicing is contributing to. With each added interconnection, we are moving towards a more secure, faster, cheaper and greener world for all our customers. And everyone else for that matter. Everything is interconnected.
