We do formats and protocols so you don't have to.

The Maventa Network will always find the fastest, most cost-efficient and most secure route for your transaction.

How Maventa Works

The Maventa network will always find the most efficient route for the transaction. If we can deliver it (free) inside the network, we will. Routings to outside the network will be explored next, followed by email and paper, unless some of these options have been indicated as the desired options.

Your invoice is sent to our server-cloud as machine-readable data. Then Maventa analyzes where the invoice is heading and couples the invoice with it’s destination address. The destination might be another Maventa Account, another e-invoice account somewhere, an e-mail address or a postal address. This philosophy completely abolishes the need of managing “how” an invoice is transmitted and rather focusing on “when” something happens to the sent invoice.

In order to make electronic invoicing more efficient and ultimately free, we have invested heavily in our network and connections in and out of the network. One of the biggest obstacles to a fully interconnected B2B transaction world are the proprietary and legacy protocols and different formats that invoices are sent in. In addition to connecting these different platforms, the Maventa network translates the different formats and protocols. The Maventa user does not need to be concerned with different formats: they are out to send an invoice, to anywhere in the world, and we are here to make that happen.

When a Maventa user sends out an invoice from their ERP, through Maventa Connector, or via the invoicing web service, Maventa either translates the invoice into the Maventa format or takes the XML in as it is. Then the invoice moves to being routed, with priority given to the instant and free transmission inside Maventa's network. If the invoice goes to a company not yet using Maventa, a secure notification is also generated for the invoice recipient. This way, the recipient can view the invoice details and also request it in different formats. Maventa also has inbuilt error-avoidance mechanisms, for example sender notifications in case of multiple possible recipients behind the same entity.
