Meet the Management Team

Kim Forsman, Founder & CEO

Kim is a serial entrepreneur who founded Maventa.com in 2007. He has over 11 years of experience from managing and growing start-ups, and considerable technological expertise. His open source and technology consultancy background ensures lean and efficient product development, and shows in the entire offering.

Perttu Jalkanen, VP Sales and Business Development

Perttu has over 11 years of experience in business development positions in software sales organisations such as Wall Street Systems, Trema, Yomi Software and HP. Prior joining Maventa Perttu worked at Wall Street Systems as Global Head of Alliances managing a team of senior business development directors. He has successfully both build from ground up complex global partnerships with likes of Accenture, Logica, KPMG as well as recruited and managed local partners and resellers in all the major markets. 

Hannu Krosing, Chief Architect

Hannu has designed Maventa's scalable and robust network. He was the main architect for Skype's database. Hannu has been a PostgreSQL hacker since when it was called Postgres and a Python and Linux user since version <= 1.0. He is particularly specialized in high-performance and high-availability database-backed systems using PostgreSQL and migrating projects to PostgreSQL and SOA, geographically distributed databases, as well as cryptography.
