An electronic invoice is a structured data document, which can be automatically processed by an accounting software to cut the laborious part of processing paper invoices. An electronic invoice requires no or minimum human intervention.

There are some 40 billion invoices delivered each year within Europe alone, of which over 95% are still sent through postal services as paper invoices. A study made by the European Bankers Association (EBA) unveils that if all these invoices would be delivered as electronic, the cost-savings would add up to hundreds of billions of Euros.

Our pricing starts from 0.25 € per invoice and drops down to 0.05€ with bulk discounts. You can deliver an invoice across the world to any organization for the price of an SMS. That’s what we call fair pricing.

Up and running in 15 minutes


1 Start off by opening a Maventa-account. You need an e-invoicing account for trading with other parties. The account is analogous to an e-mail account; it’s used to send and receive digital documents and it has an unique identifier address. It’s even as simple as opening an e-mail account, no previous experience whatsoever required.

The account request is done with a browser at https://register.maventa.com. After a successful registration, you’ll receive a confirmation notice to your e-mail address. When you’ve logged in for the first time to Maventa, we’ll ask you a couple of simple questions to set up your account. When this is done, you’re ready to start e-invoicing.


2 Download a plugin for your existing accounting software. The plugin initiates an encrypted connection from your computer to your Maventa account. When a secured connection has been made, you can send invoices to your account for delivery and poll your inbox for incoming accounts payable invoices. The plugin takes care of the data-transmission and conversions for you. Your invoices are automatically ready to be imported to your financial system. Simple.

Before you download a plugin, check the Integrated Software section to see if your financial software is supported out-the-box. If it is on list, you only need to key in your credentials to the financial system and you’re good to go.
